I can only speak to my own experience and hope that gives you some insight into what POTS is and how it can affect you or the people around you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What it feels like:<\/strong> a fever with all of the aches and pains and then pure exhaustion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oh goddess, okay so what are flash fevers? A term my mom made up as far as I know. Flash fevers, as we\u2019re going to call them, are fevers that last about 10-20 minutes and then go away. Sometimes that happens multiple times a day for no discernible reason at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are extremely tiring episodes, even worse than having a full time fever. My body is trying to fight something for whatever reason but it is unable to or maybe it is and then needs to fight it again. I have always had high fevers and oftentimes these reach 104 within a matter of minutes. They\u2019re gone pretty soon after. Sometimes it happens only once but most times it happens 5 &#8211; 6 times with 20 minutes of fever than 20 minutes off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Solutions I&#8217;ve Found<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>My only solution to flash fevers is to take Advil every 4 hours and Tylenol every 4 hours, alternating until I think it\u2019s gone away or I go to bed and normally that resolves it as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Further Reading<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I sadly couldn&#8217;t find anything else on this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Have you experienced flash fevers?
